The Dive in Los Cusingos Nature Sanctuary, Santa Elena
Los Cusingos is a magical place. It is a haven for birds and creatures- of natural wonder. This photo shows dozens of sea and shore birds. The courting flock danced their way and dived to the water for food.
World-renowned naturalist, botanist, ornithologist and philosopher Dr. Alexander Skutch built Los Cusingos in honor of the fiery-billed Araçari, a slender member of the toucan family common to the area.
