Sunset by the Bay in Liloan, Northern Cebu
Just 18 kilometers north from Cebu City is the municipality of Liloan, known for its pristine beaches.Here you gaze at the setting sun... but bathers are told not to swim to a certain point because of a whirlpool (or ‘lilo’ in the local dialect) caused by the ebb and tide of the waters that flow from an inland lake, thus the name Liloan.
